Chem Chem Lodge is situated within a Wildlife Management Area between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara known as the Burunge Wildlife Management Area.
The Lodge is nestled on the picturesque western side of the wildlife concession and consists of eight secluded tent-style suites with an opulent main lodge house, all evoking the spirit of a vintage safari lodge. For guests with a penchant for activity there is plenty to keep you occupied – guided runs, walks and a gym. Sundowners at Lake Manyara, bush breakfasts or picnics all enhance the wonderful African bush experience.
There are 8 tented suites including 1 family suite all with lake views. Each tent has an en suite bathroom and an outdoor shower. They are equipped with a fan, reading corner, dressing room, safe, telephone, hairdryer and private patio with a day-bed. The family suite has 2 tents on the same platform.
1.5 hours from Arusha Airport and 1.5 hours from Manyara Airstrip. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required at the lodge.
