Welcome to this unique lodge in its spectacular setting on the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment overlooking the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Standing high on the bluff of a dramatic ochre and terracotta-streaked cliff, above the flamingo covered expanse of Lake Manyara's gleaming alkaline waters.
This area is known for its tree-climbing lions, pink flamingoes and great birds of prey. As a result, the lodge is based on bird theme, its stylish murals depicting birds and their patterns. A spirit of tranquillity pervades the site. The circular, closely-thatched rooms were inspired by the traditional Masai 'boma' style of construction.
