The lodge has 92 spacious and cozy rooms and one suite. All rooms have private balconies or terraces. Of the lodge’s rooms, there are 3 family-sized rooms, 41 double rooms with king-sized beds, 44 twin rooms, and 3 triple rooms. Of these, 9 rooms are interconnected, making them perfect for families or close groups. The lodge also has several attractions, including a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and can arrange a visit to nearby Masai communities for a rich cultural experience.
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge sits inside Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya, roughly 270km and a four-hour drive from Nairobi, or a 30-minute flight from Wilson Airport to Amboseli's airstrip, 9km from the lodge. Set beside a natural spring and a stand of giant acacia trees, the lodge looks south towards Mount Kilimanjaro, visible above the plains on clear mornings. Being inside the park boundary rather than on a bordering conservancy means wildlife, elephant herds especially, is often close at hand, with game drives and guided walks starting right from the lodge itself.
